What is the different between Nylon Fabric 210D and 210T

What is the difference between nylon Oxford cloth 210D and 210T ?

The materials of 210D and 210T Oxford cloth are different. 210D refers to 210 high-density nylon fabric, while 210T refers to 210 nylon taffeta fabric. In our textile industry, we all use "D" [D] denier=g/L * 9000, which represents the thickness of silk thread per unit length. The larger the number before D, such as 420D, 600D, 1680D, etc., the thicker the yarn. The polyester taff series with soft and comfortable fabric is represented by "T". In 210T polyester taffeta, T refers to the density of the fabric, and 210T represents 210 yarns per square centimeter. The comparison between the two shows that 210D fabric is relatively stronger and thicker, while 210T fabric is softer and lighter. Therefore, for outdoor applications such as tent making, it is recommended to use 210D fabric as it can better withstand the ever-changing outdoor environment. Using 210D fabric as the outer layer of the tent can ensure high strength and waterproof performance. In addition to high strength and waterproof performance, 210D fabric also has excellent wear resistance, tensile resistance, and tear resistance. For accessories such as luggage, clothing, car clothing, etc., you can choose a softer 210T, and customize different processes according to your own needs.
