Driven by this, this fabric became the exclusive use of Oxford University uniforms and became popular in Europe and America for a century, known as Oxford Textile.
Oxford fabric, also known as Oxford spinning, is often interwoven with polyester cotton blended yarn and cotton yarn, using a weft weight flat or square weave It has the characteristics of easy washing and quick drying, soft feel, good moisture absorption, and comfortable wearing. The appearance is similar to color woven fabric

3) The nomenclature of Oxford cloth in the market is somewhat chaotic, and some people use some customers who are not familiar with the specifications of Oxford cloth to substitute inferior ones, intentionally shouting specifications indiscriminately, and fishing in troubled waters.
The naming of Oxford cloth specifications should be based on the thickness of the raw materials
For example, 210D Oxford fabric should be made of 200D raw materials for warp and weft, so why not call it 200D Oxford fabric? Because currently the allowable error range for the thickness of raw materials internationally is+/-5%, which is generally referred to as 210D.
Some people now sell 150D Oxford cloth as 210D Oxford cloth to customers, and even sell 145D, 140D, and 135D as 210D, which is undoubtedly incorrect. The authentic 420D Oxford fabric should be woven from 400D raw materials, but now many people on the market use 300D called 420D Oxford fabric for sales. The price of authentic 420D Oxford fabric is far different from that of 300D Oxford fabric, and the thickness of the fabric is naturally different.
1680D luggage fabric should be woven from 2 pieces of 800D fabric, otherwise it cannot be called 1680D luggage fabric.
In addition, the density of warp and weft is also very important, which is 210D. Some fabrics are dense, while others are thin. This is because the density of warp and weft is different. When purchasing Oxford fabric, it is necessary to pay attention to the density of warp and weft. Generally speaking, the warp direction can indicate the number of steel reeds, the 12th reeds are 12 pieces per centimeter, and the 12th reeds are 24 pieces per centimeter (12 * 2) when worn 2 times. Generally, the weft direction can indicate the number of shuttles, which is the number of yarns per centimeter. This can be measured with a weft density mirror. For example: 1200D12 # reed 7.5 shuttle, which means 12 pieces of 1200D in the warp direction and 7.5 pieces of 1200D in the weft direction.
Foreign countries often talk about the number of yarns, such as 86T, 190T, 210T, etc. This refers to the sum of the number of yarns in the warp direction and the number of yarns in the weft direction within a range of 1 inch in length and 1 inch in width.
